Propane Line In Attic

Hi guys well i have another project i m installing a 250 gallon lp tank out side my house and i need to run the lp lines thru the attic to my garage and kitchen.

A flexible gas line is an ingenious method of supplying natural gas to fireplaces furnaces cooktops clothes dryers and any other gas appliance. We have all been taught that running a gas line is so dangerous you should just not bother. Any help here i m sure i can handle the project but i need to. So no pans in the attic that i have seen and some of these are relatively new installations.

The laundry room is built on a slab. It was run in an unprofessional manner in that it runs up from the basement and then along a door threshold and finally through a wall. I really don t know where to start as far as what type of lines to use. I have just purchased a house where the gas line for the dryer is copper.

Are there any rules or safety concerns about running a new gas through the wall into the attic and then dropping it down through the wall. How to run natural gas or propane gas lines in your house without blowing anything up. Virtually all state and local code authorities permit its use and many contractors are finally embracing it. Just pay the professionals.

As far as attics go i have not seen the pan installed for an attic mounted propane furnace except in the case where the a c component has a pan for the evaporator coils however the drain line for this is insufficient to carry the gasses for propane.
